I began hosting workshops as a way to go deeper into aspects of yoga that I'm only able to scratch the surface of in my classes. 

 I love that you,  "my yogis", are interested in going deeper in your own practice and knowledge of yoga and the yoga lifestyle! So much gratitude to you for allowing me to do what speaks to my soul and for being a part of this sangha we are creating! Namaste yogis!

🙏 4-Week Meditation Series 🙏

This is the 3rd time I'm running a 4-Week Meditation Workshop! Come see what all the buzz is about! 

Have you been wanting to learn more about meditation and to engage in a regular meditation practice? It’s SO much easier than you think!

Join me at my home in Shelton where we gather in my new yoga room :) and meditate together. YOU are so worth this time for self-care, self-love, and

connection to our “Soul Tribe” community!!


Each 60 minute session will begin with a brief go-around as we get to know each other and share whatever we'd like, or our experience with meditation over the past week. A discussion of the type of meditation we will be practicing will follow, and then I will guide you thru the meditation. We will end with a brief discussion/sharing of our experience.

Simply Yoga

What: If you've taken my class, you know I do a lot of cueing on alignment, the bandas, the breath, ...

My idea for this class was to teach a yoga class where I'm basically just cueing the names of the poses with very little other coaching/dialog.   Without that constant rhetoric and direction throughout the class, you are able to more easily go within (pratyahara-one of the 8 Limbs) and experience your practice on a deeper more meditative level and tune into your own inner guide during your practice.

Sage Ceremony/Cleansing Workshop  

In response to conflict, anger,  illness, or evil, buring sage/smudging was performed by shamans in a 2000 year old tradition as a way to release or cleanse the energy field of a person or place. 

I've scheduled this workshop right before the first day of Spring as a way to go into the season of rebirth and new beginnings cleared of any negative energy or emotions that may be holding you back from you greatest potential. 

What:This workshop will begin with a sage ceremony to cleanse our physical and energetic bodies. Then we will go right into a yoga class focused on detoxifying. And we will finish with an explanation of a 3-day mini-cleanse you can do as a way to reset yourself- body & mind!

 (We will be eating real food on this cleanse. A shopping list will be sent out the week prior to this workshop so you are prepared to begin this cleanse on Monday March 19th.)

Participation in cleanse is optional

Movie Night- 

The Way of the Peaceful Warrior

As many of you know,  something I've been wanting to do with the completion of my yoga room...Movie nights! :)

Keeping with the theme of pursuing a more meaningful,  healthy life, richer experiences, and deeper relationships, I've chosen The Way of the Peaceful Warrior as the first movie to show. This movie is based on the book with the same title by Dan Millman and is SUCH a great read! One of my personal favorites! 

There is no fee to attend.  I just ask you to please bring a donation for animals- food, a toy, a leash, even gently used towels and blankets that are always in need at shelters and rescue organizations!

I'll provide refreshments!

Blindfolded Yoga Practice

Pratyahara is one of the 8 Limbs of Yoga and is translated as withdrawal or mastery of the senses. 

In this gentle blindfolded practice, eliminating our sense of sight allows us to go within to tune into the sensations in our bodies. and it allows our other senses to be heightened to create a very different experience on our mat.

Conscious Eating Workshop

Conscious Eating is an awareness of what we eat, and how it effects us. 

I hosted a Conscious Eating Workshop about a year and a half ago, and have been asked to do it again. 

We will explore many topics related to conscious eating from fasting to the benefits of juicing and smoothies, to an alkaline diet, fermented foods and so much more! Then we will flow thru an hour long yoga practice together.
